Fayette, Alabama, is a quaint community located in northwest Alabama at the foot of the Appalachian mountain range, with a population of approximately 5,000.  Fayette’s motto is "The Best Kept Secret in the South!"

We are located conveniently approximately 2 hours west of Birmingham, Alabama, an hour north of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, 3 hours south east of Memphis, Tennessee, and about an hour east of Columbus, Mississippi.

We enjoy a temperate Southern climate, plenty of fresh air and clean water, and a friendly community of people who understand the value of hard work and caring neighbors.  Our downtown is filled with local flavor including local stores with friendly shopkeepers, and a city park right off of Main Street where you can spend time with family and friends, play fetch with your dog, or watch your kids have fun on the playground. 

Our town is also home to three well-known companies: Ox Bodies, one of the worlds leading producers of dump truck bodies, Golden Eagle Syrup, and Dal-Tile.
